What we keep

• Your email address, so you can sign in and get the alerts you ask for.
• Your name, if you give us one. We use it to say hello.
• Your postcode and how far you’ll travel, if you give them. We use them to pick the stores near you.
• The things and words you’re watching.
• Stock reports you send us, with the time you sent them.
• A record of the alerts we’ve sent you, so we don’t send the same one twice.

We don’t keep card details. When paid alerts start, our payment company will handle those and we’ll say who it is here.

Why we’re allowed to

We keep this because you’ve asked us to watch things for you, and we can’t do that without it. In the words of UK data protection law, that’s a contract with you and our legitimate interest in running the service. We never sell your details and we don’t show ads.

Who helps us

• Supabase stores our database, in London.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Resend sends our emails.

They look after the data for us and can’t use it for anything else. If we add WhatsApp alerts, those will go through Meta and we’ll update this page first.

Cookies

We set one cookie, and only when you sign in. It keeps you signed in. There are no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies, so there’s nothing to accept.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. Delete your account and we delete your list, your reports and your details within 30 days. Stock reports stay in the counts but without anything that points to you.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we’ll sort it within a month. If you’re not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this page, we’ll put the new date at the top. If the change matters, we’ll email you first.
